Darker Shade of the Blues

I’ve had women leave me before.
They’ve left me for another guy.
They’ve left me because the
Grass looked greener.
After they left, they all
Left me deep in the blues.

But you.
You left me
After years together.
You left me….who cares why….
Covered in shadows.
You left me alone and
Livin’ a darker shade of the blues.
